I have to admit that cheerleading is a cruel sport. It benefits girls who are petite, flexible and have a gymnastic background. It benefits guys who are big and strong. But those who persevere, benefit the most. Today after training I see tears and I see hugs. I am glad that some of you feel angry, disappointed, guilty, happy about your results; it shows that at least cheerleading matters to you and you love to cheer.
But please bear in mind, cheerleading is not an easy sport. You not only have to challenge yourself physically, you also need to be mentally strong. Its like you have the strength to jump, but do not have the guts to turn and tuck.
Sometimes you want to do something but no one asks you to do it. It takes greater courage to do something you love than to do nothing and wait for people to ask you to do it. Also, it takes a lot more courage to persevere and believe in yourself even when no one believe in you. It takes the greatest courage to endure training after training when you do not see any progress, because you believe one day you can achieve.
Cheerleading is never an easy sport, but ask yourself "have you tried your best?"
We are team. Ask. Tell. Share. Listen. Endure. Discipline.

We are all here for each other, you are not alone. Let's progress together.

Taiwan, Monsters, 5th World Championships
Team Category

Group Category

I'm sure BaGua and Xiaoba is somewhere inside! Monsters have gone very strong the past few years especially their single stunts! I notice their team routine involves alot of single stunts transition also. This tells us that with strength and technique, nothing fails. I'm sure even the seniors are in really bad shape compared to these nationals team cheerleaders. I've posted quite a few different countries' routine so please take a look. We definitely need to work hard (and doubly hard for the juniors) if we want to achieve these. Its not impossible because we draw our own limits, and I believe that with pure determination and guts; there is no limit.
Are you at your limit yet?

PS: Note that their pitch toss 2-2-1 is double twist!
Thailand Bangkok University

Personally I feel that BU is one team worthy to look up upon also. I love their transition and explosive dance. They have been champions in Thailand for quite some time except last year, I'm looking forward for their routine this year!

Japanese Team Buffalo, Guest Performance for Singapore 1st Cheerleading Nationals

I've always love Japan's routine, very sharp and very clean. They are able to pull out such performance only through great discipline and perseverance.
FYI, the pyramid in the middle of the routine is 3-3-4, and note the 1-1-1 chair somewhere inside!

Fun memory!

Hi juniors!

Do you remember watching us perform during TP Olympiad 2010? If you don't, here it is:

It was definitely one of the most enjoyable perfomance I ever did, despite it's simplicity. Wasn't satisfied with my basket toss toe touch though. Hehe!
