Resume Training

Hey guys!
Great job for those who participated in the Nationals!
Although we didn't win anything, but at least we managed to hit almost ASU!

Most importantly,
we won ourselves.

For those who were present to watch the performances by the other teams, I'm sure you guys know how high the standards are, and how far apart we are to them.
Thus, we need to work double as hard, and I strongly believe we can do it too.
For those who were not around to watch the performances, you can search the net to watch their performances or ask the rest about it - then you'll know what I mean.

Anyways, as promised there would be a one week break from 21/03/11 to 27/03/11.

So training would resume on
29/03/11, Tuesday, 6pm to 9pm.
Be prepared to work on your basics and meanwhile, please try to gym more.

Jiayou Blazers!

Cheer Spirit!

Se7evn is NTU HO 2011 champions and I really want to share these video.
Besides having very clean stunts and innovative pyramids and transitions, they routine is also very energized. You can see from their dance and cheer that they are putting in their hearts and give every omph they have. I personally feel that that's what cheerleading is about, ain't it? Fun and enjoyment (:

Razers comes in 5th and I think the winning recipe for HO competition is big props and nice uniforms. Razors presented a very entertaining routine also!

A little motivation

There's a good toe touch twist at 1:25 and kick twist at 1:44

Also, it's worthy to learn from the cheerleaders that though the routine is tiring and physically demanding, their smiles stay wide. At 0:43, you can see the cheerleader singing along with the song, it shows that she's enjoying the sport and the competiton, which is actually very important. I mean, it's our last 2mins30seconds with this team of people on the mats with that routine, i'm sure we all want to cheer alongside each other with our best enjoyment. ;) Let's cultivate this spirit towards nationals!
