I have to admit that cheerleading is a cruel sport. It benefits girls who are petite, flexible and have a gymnastic background. It benefits guys who are big and strong. But those who persevere, benefit the most. Today after training I see tears and I see hugs. I am glad that some of you feel angry, disappointed, guilty, happy about your results; it shows that at least cheerleading matters to you and you love to cheer.
But please bear in mind, cheerleading is not an easy sport. You not only have to challenge yourself physically, you also need to be mentally strong. Its like you have the strength to jump, but do not have the guts to turn and tuck.
Sometimes you want to do something but no one asks you to do it. It takes greater courage to do something you love than to do nothing and wait for people to ask you to do it. Also, it takes a lot more courage to persevere and believe in yourself even when no one believe in you. It takes the greatest courage to endure training after training when you do not see any progress, because you believe one day you can achieve.
Cheerleading is never an easy sport, but ask yourself "have you tried your best?"
We are team. Ask. Tell. Share. Listen. Endure. Discipline.

We are all here for each other, you are not alone. Let's progress together.
